Worthington rules himself out of Owls job

Worthington's name is always likely to be mentioned in managerial speculation stories surrounding Wednesday because of his past links with the club - he made over 400 appearances for the Owls as a player.

"You can count me out. I've got absolutely no interest in it all," said Worthington after his name was linked to the Owls job following the resignation of Terry Yorath on Thursday.

"I'm very happy at this football club, I'm very settled here. There is still a lot of work to be done and I want to see it through."
