New Sheffield Wednesday head coach Carlos Carvalhal has added more strength to his new look Owls squad by completing the signing of former Burnley winger Ross Wallace.
The 30-year-old has signed a 1-year deal at Hillsborough and joins a host of new players coming into the club as owner Dejphon Chansiri looks to work towards his aiming of guiding the club to the Premier League in the next 2 years.
Wallace made over 150 appearances in 5 seasons at Burnley, during which the club achieved promotion to the top flight. He didn’t feature as much as he would have liked last season as the Clarets were relegated back to the Championship but did still make some valuable contributions.
The once-capped Scotland player came through the youth ranks at Celtic where he made over 50 appearances and the popular player has also enjoyed successful spells at Sunderland and Preston North End.
