Josh could make move permanent

Sheffield Wednesday's on-loan attacking midfielder Josh Windass could make his move to Hillsborough a permanent one at the end of the current season - if all parties involved were interested.

The 26-year-old joined the Owls on loan until the end of the current season in January and The Sheffield Star reports that the former Rangers man could extend his stay as he has been happy with what he has experienced at the club so far, even though results have been disappointing https://www.thestar.co.uk/sport/football/sheffield-wednesday/what-josh-windass-said-about-possibility-making-his-sheffield-wednesday-move-permanent-2523246

Windass signed a 3-year deal with parent club Wigan Athletic in the summer of 2018. He has scored twice for the Owls since making the loan move, the first on his debut in a draw at near neighbours Barnsley and having come on as a half-time substitute with the Owls already 3-0 down at home to derby County, he scored the only goal of the second half in an encouraging personal performance.
