Dawson dropped after derby debacle
Sheffield Wednesday manager Garry Monk has named Joe Wildsmith on goal for todays clash with Wycombe Wanderers, demoting Cameron Dawson to the bench.
Dawson wasn’t alone in having a poor game in the 3-0 South Yorkshire derby defeat at Rotherham United on Wednesday but he has lost his place as a result. Aden Flint is ruled out due to injury and Tom Lees also drops out as he is suspended following his red card against the Millers. Dominic Iorfa and Liam Palmer return in defence and Josh Windass and Adam Reach also make the starting eleven. Izzy Brown makes the squad but is only seemingly fit enough for a place on the bench.
Both teams are stuck at the foot of the division, Wednesday have lost 3 matches in a row while Wycombe have only 1 point from their first 8 Championship games.
