Owls striker on international duty in June
Many of Sheffield Wednesday's squad will now have started a summer of relaxation and recuperation ahead of pre-season training but for Atdhe Nuhiu the beach will have to wait.
The Owls forward has been called up for international duty with Kosovo and will be in their squad for away games against Montenegro on Friday 7th June and Bulgaria on Monday 10th June.
Kosovo are in the same UEFA Euro 2020 qualifying group as England and with the 3 lions playing Nations League football next month the two matches give Kosovo an opportunity to close the gap on group leaders England before the two teams face each other in September. England currently top the group with 6 points from 2 games while Kosovo have 1 point from their only game in the group so far.
