Sheffield Wednesday added to their midfield options on Wednesday by signing young Aston Villa midfielder Gary Gardner.
The 21-year-old has joined on a 1-month loan deal that runs until March 12th and he will be eligible to feature for the Owls in the F.A. Cup.
Gardner has featured just under 20 times for the Villa first team but after a serious injury last season he has spent most of this season playing for their Under 21 side.
The move comes with Wednesday's injury crisis deepening.
