Sheffield Wednesday have allowed 2 strikers to join League One side Chesterfield. Canadian forward Caolan Lavery moves to North Derbyshire on a short-term loan deal and Manny Dieseruvwe has made the same move on a permanent transfer.
Lavery broke into the Owls first team last season but his progress this season has been hampered by an injury picked up in the summer and he will hope to get regular first team football under his belt by dropping down a division. The 22-year-old has signed a deal with Chesterfield that runs to March 7th with the possibility of a further extension.
Dieseruvwe is a product of the Sheffield Wednesday academy and the 19-year-old will be hoping to make an impression in the spireites first team having signed an 18-month contract.
Wednesday have added to their own attacking options this week with the signings of Sergiu Bus and Will Keane while Chesterfield sold their top scorer Eoin Doyle to Cardiff on deadline day.
