A brace from David Friio and a Paul Wotton penalty ensured that the in-form Pilgrims took the points, but Turner believes that to read too much into the result would be wrong considering the Owls' current league position.
"There's a lot of football left to play," he told the Sheffield Star. "I'm disappointed now, but I might be happy on Saturday, then we might beat Blackpool the week after that and be back on track.
"You have to be thereabouts at Christmas. We're only four points off second place. So Wednesday night's outcome is not a catastrophe in the bigger picture, but it is one on the night's performance."
