Sheffield Wednesday full-back Tommy Spurr was a surprise inclusion in this weekends Coca Cola Championship team of the week as shown on the football league's official website.
Etienne Esajas made the team a couple of weeks ago when he was the Owls standout player against Rotherham and again against Wolves-even though he only played for 45 minutes of the 4-1 defeat.
But the fact that Spurr made the team this weekend is something of a shock given that it was a very disappointing overall display from the Owls and Spurr hardly stood out from the crowd of underperformers, in fact, some Owls fans who witnessed the game stated he put in a shaky 90 minutes and was more akin to Bambi than Baresi at times.
It must have been an under par weekend for all left-backs in the Championship.
With the close of the transfer window just a couple of hours away the Owls look unlikely to make any moves as things stand, be it through the exit or entry door with want-away Captain Richard Wood having had his transfer request rebuffed.
