The former Derby striker scored on his debut against Crewe in January but goals and victories have dried up since for not just him, but the rest of the team as well.
But with 11 games left and a possible 33 points to play for, Tudgay knows that every win is imperative and thinking negatively will do more harm than good.
He told Footymad: "We have to go in every game knowing that we can win it because there’s no point going in saying ‘we can get a point from this one’ and ‘we can win that one’ so we have to go into every game thinking we can get three points out of it so obviously if we do that then it’s good for the club."
Tudgay has played in a number of positions this season already for Wednesday but he would personally like to play more of an attacking role to help the team get the goals they need to keep in the championship.
He added: "The lads have worked well with me so far but like I have said earlier, we are all young but being made welcome here is good and I just want to go on and help them. My favourite position is up front but if I am playing wide then I am happy that I am playing."
