The former Derby striker has not hit the target since the Crewe game at the turn of the year and although he admits he is playing well, a few goals will cap things off for him - whereas Burton has hit two goals in two successive games.
But he does admit that he is forging a good partnership now with the ex-Rotherham man and that is all down to hard work.
Tudgay told Footymad:"It has been a while now that Deon and I have played together and it is coming together now. We are working hard in training, we are staying behind and doing extra things – we are working hard on finishing, movement and other things and so far it's working well.
"But I'm frustrated that I haven't scored since January and I had a few opportunities against QPR but as long as I am there and getting the chances then they will go in eventually so I have to remain confident."
Tudgay is also quick to point out the contribution of the defence recently, especially after Scott Carson has not been troubled yet in his two games at Hillsborough.
He continued: "It's good for Scott that he has come in and not had much to do just quite yet but that goes to show how good our defence is. Again they are all working well but we all know how good Scott can be. All we have to do though is just keep playing our game: if we keep continue to do the job at the back then we will get the results."
