The Owls defender has missed the last few games following a knock he picked up late in the Cardiff game when Simon Walton clattered into him.
But he thinks that if Wednesday continue their good recent run, and get some luck along the way - an unlikely spot in the top six could be theirs.
He told his Icons website: "We are unbeaten in ten now and we are even in with an outside chance of making the play-offs.
"To do that we'd need to win our remaining three games and then we'd need the teams above us to drop a few silly points.
"But it's not impossible - we stand a chance of getting there and our confidence is snowballing with every game.
