Fans left Gresty Road dejected on Saturday after a shocking 2-0 reverse to Crewe but now a line has been drawn under that game and now The Owls must look to beat Nigel Worthington's men.
Wednesday are five points clear of Alex with four games to play and a victory against The Canaries could go a long way to making sure The Owls stay up - especially with a difficult-looking road trip to relegation-haunted Brighton on Monday and champions Reading at Hillsborough next weekend.
But at the moment all eyes are on Norwich and Simek knows it will be a fight.
He told Footymad: "We beat Norwich at their place, a good result as well after beating them 1-0 and needless to say we are looking to do the same thing on Saturday. It won't be easy that's for sure but we need the points."
Carson meanwhile knows that City have their failings and have not impressed this season after relegation.
He added: "Norwich are beatable. I think every team in this league are – every team is capable of beating anyone else so hopefully Saturday we can put in a good performance and get a good win."
Sturrock could recall Steve Adams to the midfield while Lee Bullen could miss out all together because of illness.
The Owls boss could also recall Richard Wood or Drissa Diallo to solve his current defensive crisis.
