Sheffield Wednesday winger Wade Small has joined Coca Cola Championship rivals Blackpool on a 4-week emergency loan deal.
The winger has been on the periphery of things at Hillsborough this season and although he has been a regular in the squad when fit he has started little more than a handful of games for the Owls during 2008/09.
Small has at times shown promise, such as his performances in the away games at Charlton and Coventry this season but has rarely had a sustained run in the side due to niggling injuries.
More recently he has come in for criticism from certain sections of the Wednesday support for what some perceive to be a poor work rate or lack of commitment/concentration, not helped by the part he played in Birmingham's late equaliser at Hillsborough at the end of January.
