Sheffield Wednesday go to Coventry on Sunday looking to improve on a lacklustre display that saw them struggle to pick up a point at home to Blackpool on Boxing Day.
With the likes of Etienne Esajas, Jermaine Johnson, Leon Clarke and Frank Simek likely to remain amongst the lengthy list of absentees Brian Laws looks set to select from the same 16 that were named for the 1-1 draw two days ago.
Despite this there could be changes to the starting 11 with Sean McAllister expected to step up from the bench. Steve Watson has only recently returned from injury and two games in three days may be too much and so he may have to settle for a place on the bench.
Jimmy Smith will also be hoping to be in contention for a start. The midfielder joined on loan from Chelsea with high expectations of him at the start of the season but he is yet to make a telling impression with his spell at Hillsborough set to end in two weeks time.
Coventry could name former Owls loan striker Leon Best but Clinton Morrison, who scored the only goal of the game when the two sides met at Hillsborough recently may miss out due to illness. Leon McKenzie could return to the fold but is not expected to start following a lengthy spell out due to injury.
Wednesday last won at Coventry in 1995 thanks to a solitary goal from Guy Whittingham, there have been ten winless visits since then.
Despite a good recent run of form the Owls have still only recorded two away wins in the Championship this season.
Coventry have been in woeful form at home of late and have not won at the Ricoh Arena in their past seven attempts. The Sky Blues are currently in 16th place in the league, 4 points behind the Owls.
