Sheffield Wednesday have today received a boost in their bid to avoid relegation from the Coca-Cola Championship.
Loan signings Ben Sahar, Franck Songo'o and Adam Bolder have all agreed deals which will see them stay at Hillsborough for the remainder of the season.
Sahar, on loan from Chelsea, was troubled by injury and illness at the beginning of his initial spell but has held down a starting place up-front in recent games and scored the first domestic league goal of his career against Crystal Palace. He also found the net at Scunthorpe on Saturday and Chelsea have agreed that he should be made available for selection for the Sheffield derby on Tuesday evening rather than join up with the Israel Under 19's squad.
Franck Songo'o has been arguably Wednesday's best player since he joined on loan from Portsmouth and the Owls will need him to return from the knock that forced him out in the first-half of Saturday's draw at Scunthorpe sooner rather than later.
Adam Bolder added some energy to the Owls midfield when he joined on loan from QPR and although he has been out of the side of late he is likely to play a part in the final few games of the season following the news that Sean McAllister is unlikely to play again in the current campaign due to injury.
