Sheff Wed V Yeovil at Hillsborough - Match Preview

Bostock set for Owls bow

Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson is expected to hand new loan signing John Bostock his first start against Yeovil.

The Tottenham midfielder, on loan until the end of the season, stepped off the substitutes' bench for the last half an hour in the midweek draw at MK Dons, but may replace Chris Sedgwick in the starting line-up.

Megson has no new injury or suspension problems and is unlikely to make too many, if any, other changes to his side.

Miguel Llera is likely to continue at centre-half in the continued absence of Rob Jones, who has missed the last three games due to an ankle problem, while another defender, Julian Bennett, is still out with a shoulder injury.

Mike Jones, a recent signing from Bury, is hoping to be included in the squad after being omitted in midweek, while fellow winger Jermaine Johnson is pushing for a recall to the starting line-up.

Wednesday will start the game in third place, level on points with Huddersfield, who occupy the second automatic promotion spot.

Yeovil will be without the suspended Paul Huntington.

Defender Huntington was sent off late on during the Glovers' 2-1 victory over Preston last time out and, after an appeal failed to get the red card overturned, Huntington will serve a three-match ban starting with the visit to Hillsborough.

The Glovers have moved to fill the spot vacated by Huntington's suspension by securing a short-term deal for former Wednesday defender Richard Hinds, but Dominic Blizzard is set to miss out.

Midfielder Blizzard has been struggling with a groin problem recently and will not be available to manager Gary Johnson, while Kelly Youga is also a doubt.

Johnson is still seeking his first away win since returning as Glovers boss.
