The midfielder, who has played four games for the club, seems to get better with every game he plays.
Off the field he is trying to find somewhere to live and check out of a hotel supplied by the club, although so far his search has been fruitless.
He told Footymad: "Scoring’s something that I want to add to my game and people have said to be that I should get forward more to support the strikers and I was happy to see the shot go in.
"I have played four games and the football side of settling in has not been a problem, finding a place to live in the meantime is a bit of a hassle but when it comes to training, the lads have been fantastic.
"I feel good myself and I know what the manager needs from me but every day I have been here it just gets better and better, especially the last two weeks because I feel stronger and fit to play in the gaffer’s system. We have got ability in our squad but playing in this league compared to the SPL, it’s a bit more physical here and there’s definitely more competition to keep in the side here.
"The closeness of the players here has impressed me from the moment I walked through the dressing room door everyone spoke to me. The crowd have been great too, they create a good atmosphere."
