Sheffield Wednesday transfer target Daniel Pudil's Euro 2016 campaign ended in disappointment on Tuesday as the Czech Republic failed to advance from the group stage.
Having been drawn in a tough group alongside Spain, Croatia and Turkey, the Czech's went into their final group game against Turkey knowing that a win would see them through to the knock-out stages having picked up 1 point from their first 2 games.
Watford full-back Pudil, who had a successful season on loan at Hillsborough in 2015/16, made he first start of the competition against Turkey but didn't perform to the level he showed he was capable of last season and his country suffered a 2-0 defeat to bring an end to their tournament participation.
The Owls have expressed an interest in bringing Pudil back to S6 on a permanent deal but the Premier League said are said to be looking for a fee in the region of £2M.
