Sheffield Wednesday’s summer recruitment drive continued on Friday when they managed to secure the services of CrystalPalace defender Jack Hunt.
The attack minded right-back has moved to Hillsborough on a season long loan. Hunt made his name at Huddersfield, where having graduated through youth ranks he went on to make over 100 1st team appearances. The 24-year-old made the move to Palace in 2013 for a fee of around £2M but has found his opportunities at SelhurstPark limited after an injury early on in his career with the Eagles held him back.
He has since had productive loan spells in the Championship with Barnsley, NottinghamForest and Rotherham and is highly sought after at this level due to his impressive displays.
