Sheffield Wednesday striker Ryan Lowe has been named as the npower Player of the Month for League One. Unfortunately the award is in recognition of his goal scoring feats for Bury in August, before he moved to Hillsborough last week but it does at least highlight the ability that he has.
Having been named as the League Two player of the season in the last campaign, helping Bury to promotion, Lowe wasted no time in finding his feet in League One, scoring 7 goals in 7 games for the Shakers.
Unfortunately an ankle injury picked up on his Owls debut at Charlton on Monday evening looks set to prevent him from making his home debut for the club this weekend but reports suggest he shouldn’t be out for too long and if Wednesday can provide the chances for him then he clearly has the pedigree to put them away.
