Sheffield Wednesday goal keeper Keiren Westwood's fine form has been rewarded with a call up to the Republic of Ireland international squad.
Westwood has won numerous awards for his displays throughout the season, including being named in the PFA Championship team of the season and it is no surprise that he has once again been called upon by his national team.
Ireland face England in a friendly on June 7th followed by a crunch Euro 2016 qualifier at home to Scotland on 13th June. The Republic are currently locked in a 4-way battle with Germany, Poland and Scotland as they bid to make the European Championship finals in France next year.
