Turnover increased by from £13.23m in 2001 to £18.5m - a rise of 40.2% - with match receipts up by 10.3%.
Wednesday chairman Geoff Hulley claimed the results were encouraging as the financial performance had exceeded the break-even target set by the club, from a £6.3m loss in 2001.
He said: "These results are some reward for the hard work and determination everyone at the club has shown to put Sheffield Wednesday on a sounder financial footing."
These figures included a one-off payment from ITV Digital, which saw broadcast income more than double from £3.31million to £7.73million
