Wolves Vs Wednesday: Team news & preview
Sheffield Wednesday travel to Championship Champions Wolves on Saturday afternoon, looking to rain on the parade of the league winners in what will their final home game at this level for some time. Wolves will be looking to end the season in the style their fans have become accustomed to and a victory would see them past 100 points.
Wednesday will be without Jack Hunt for the final two games of the season after the full-back picked up an injury in last weekends win against Reading. Hunt joins the likes of Westwood, Van Aken, Fox, Lee, Hooper, Hutchinson, Wallace and Fletcher on the sidelines.
Jos Luhukay at least has plenty of in-form options to choose from in attack with Rhodes, Forestieri, Joao and Nuhiu all among the goals of late.
Wolves are likely to be without injured duo Ivan Cavaleiro and Ryan Bennett and so the Owls are likely to come up against two former Wednesday loan players in the shape of defender Danny Batth and striker Benik Afobe.
Wolves have won 8 of their last 10 games and have only lost twice at home all season. Wednesday have won 5 of their last 7 matches including 3 away wins in 4 matches on the road.
The Owls were beaten 1-0 by Wolves at Hillsborough in December but did enjoy a 2-0 win on their last visit to Molineux last season.
