Owls open up against Clarets

Sheffield Wednesday will kick-off their 2008/09 Championship campaign at home to Burnley on August 9^th.

The Owls face the Blades at Hillsborough in the Sheffield derby on 18^th October and this is followed by a trip to Barnsley just 3 days later with the return fixtures for these games taking place in early February.

Newly promoted local rivals Doncaster visit the Owls in November and Wednesday finish the season at home to Cardiff City.
