Sheffield Wednesday have added an attacking option by bringing in Gary Taylor-Fletcher on loan from Premier League side, Leicester City.
Fletcher makes the move to Hillsborough on an initial one-month deal and he is a player that the Owls have considered signing for some time as he trained with the club during the summer of 2013.
Taylor-Fletcher has a wealth of experience having played and scored in the top five divisions of the professional game and he is accustomed to playing as a wide midfielder or as a forward.
The 33-year-olds most successful spell came at Blackpool where he played over 200 games and was a regular member of the team that gained promotion to the Premier League in 2010, scoring in the play-off final victory over Cardiff.
Taylor-Fletcher has struggled to force his way into the Leicester side on a regular basis and will be eager to get a run of games at Hillsborough. Wednesday have struggled for goals of late at Stuart Gray will be happy to have another option in that area.
Taylor-Fletcher made his Owls debut as a second half substitute in the 0-0 home draw with Norwich on Saturday and will be hoping to impress enough in training to force his way into the starting line-up next weekend at Charlton.
