Sheffield Wednesday have added to their attacking options today by signing Manchester United forward Will Keane on loan for the rest of the season.
Keane was spotted by Manchester United at a young age and has worked his way through the academy system at the Premier League giants. The 22-year-old has been a prolific goalscorer at youth levels and in the Red Devils reserve team.
A serious knee ligament injury saw the youngster miss the entire 2012/13 season but he made an instant goal scoring return in the under-21's early in the 2013/14 season.
Keane's form and potential attracted the interest of Championship clubs last season and loan moves to Wigan and QPR followed though these were largely unsuccessful and he is yet to get of the mark as a goal scorer at senior professional level.
Will Keane has represented England upto and including under 21 level and he will be hoping to make a positive impression at Hillsborough to kick-start his senior career. His first opportunity for the Owls could come in next Tuesday's home fixture against Birmingham City.
