Sheffield Wednesday has announced today through their official website, www.swfc.co.uk that the first deadline for purchasing reduced-priced season tickets is to be extended.
The final date that the season tickets were set to be available at current prices was originally due to be the 30th May.
However, due to recent high demands placed on the ticket office due to healthy demand and requests from many supporters to extend the deadline past the end of the month as this will include another pay-day for many of those who receive their wages monthly the club has decided to set this back.
The maximum discount available on season ticket renewals will now apply until Saturday June 13th.
Season ticket sales thus far have been encouraging with the club targeting sales in excess of 16,000. To date all indications are that there will be a significant improvement on last seasons numbers, which totalled just over eleven and a half thousand.
