Sheffield Wednesday have been represented in the Coca Cola Championship team of the week for the second weekend in succession as they continue to impress under Alan Irvine.
Last week Jermaine Johnson was picked in the 11, as chosen by the Press Association, for his stand-out display at Barnsley and this weekend two more Owls have made the line up.
Marcus Tudgay scored both goals in the 2-1 home win against Peterborough on Saturday and takes his place in the side as a result. Wednesday captain Darren Purse was also chosen as the Owls managed to defend well and earn the three points despite late pressure from the visitors.
The team of the week is selected each week and can be viewed on the official Football League website at http://www.football-league.co.uk/championship/news/championship-team-of-the-week-20100125_2248204_1943550
Wednesday will be hoping to continue a fine run of form that has seen them win three games in a row when they travel to Scunthorpe for an important clash towards the foot of the Championship table on Wednesday evening.
