Sheffield Wednesday’s first player to leave the club during the January transfer window is defender Mark Reynolds, who has joined struggling Scottish Premier League sideAberdeen.
Reynolds signed for the Owls last January when Alan Irvine picked him up from Motherwell for an undisclosed fee. The young defender struggled to adapt to life in League One and played just 8 games last season.
This season has rarely seen him feature in the plans of current manager Gary Megson, playing just 5 times and he has been out of the first team squad completely recently. Reynolds, who can play at either left-back or centre-back, will be looking to get more games under his belt back in Scotland as he attempts to get his career back on track.
