Owls confirm largely low-key pre-season

Sheffield Wednesday’s pre-season schedule of fixtures has been published by the club today.

The Owls have 6 matches to play prior to the start of the 2015/16 campaign with the final one to take place at Hillsborough a week before the start of the season.

Wednesday make short trips to Alfreton, Ilkeston and York in mid-July before facing their biggest test of their pre-season schedule against SC Braga on 24^th July as part of their training camp in Portugal.

The Owls return to England and travel to Scunthorpe on Wednesday 29^th July.

Scottish Championship side St Mirren will be the final pre-season opponents and the first to play on the new Desso pitch when they make the trip to Hillsborough on Saturday 1^st August.
