Sheffield Wednesday's recently appointed financial advisor Adam Pearson has left the club after less than a month in the role.
Pearson was appointed by new chairman Dejphon Chansiri in mid-April and along with head coach Stuart Gray and fellow new appointee Glenn Roeder they formed a new look football committee that was put in place to take the Owls forward.
Pearson's brief was to advise Chansiri and work on financial matters with Gray concentrating on coaching the first team and Roeder heading up the scouting approach and assisting in player recruitment.
The decision to leave is as a result of Pearson taking up the role of Executive Director at Wednesday's Yorkshire rivals Leeds United. Pearson hails from Leeds and has stated that his heart influenced the decision when the opportunity to become involved with the West Yorkshire club arose.
