Sheffield Wednesday travel to Huddersfield with a virtual full strength team available to manager Dave Jones. Midfielder Jose Semedo and striker Jay Bothroyd have recovered from respective knee and ankle injuries to come into contention.
The likelihood is however that Jones will choose to stick with the same team that performed so well at the Reebok Stadium on Boxing Day as the Owls beat Bolton 1-0. That means forwards Gary Madine and Chris O’Grady may have to settle for places on the bench as Michail Antonio may continue to play off Mamady Sidibe up front.
Huddersfield could welcome back centre-back Joel Lynch as he completed a suspension on Boxing Day but experienced striker Alan Lee remains banned and midfielder Oscar Gobern missed out due to an ankle injury.
Calum Woods and Danny Ward are also struggling to be fit for the Yorkshire derby.
Wednesday recent run of good form has seen them inch out of the Championship relegation places. The win at Bolton was their 3rd in a row and also their 3rd clean sheet in succession.
Huddersfield are in the midst of a dip in form having not won in their last 8 though 4 of these have been draws including a 1-1 result at Crystal Palace on Boxing Day.
Huddersfield got the better of the Owls, winning 3-1 when the 2 sides met at Hillsborough in September but Wednesday 2-0 won on their last visit to the Terriers in April. That result helped the Owls to pip Town to an automatic promotion spot in League One with Huddersfield going on to gain promotion via the play-offs.
