Sheffield Wednesday have opted to recall forward Caolan Lavery from his loan spell at League One side Chesterfield.
Lavery, who bagged a coujple of goals for the Spireites, recently extended the loan deal to run until the end of the season but the Owls placed a 24-hour recall clause into the contract.
On-loan Manchester United striker Will Keane sustained an injury that forced him out of the Owls 1-1 draw with Fulham during the first half on Saturday and to cover his probable spell on the sidelines Wednesday have activated the clause in Lavery's loan contract and have brought him back to Hillsborough.
Lavery is now expected to be in the Owls squad to face Wolves away on Tuesday evening.
