Having overcome the worst start to a season in the history of the club Laws has guided Wednesday to a stable position of 14th in the table and will be looking to build on this as the games continue to come thick and fast in the build to the Christmas and New Period.
Wednesday managed an unbeaten run of five games in November including three victories with the highlight being the 5-0 romp at home to Southampton. Also pleasing is the fact that the last three games have been clean sheets, no small feat given the defensive frailties that blighted the Owls start to the campaign.
Laws was quick to put the award down to the efforts of the players in turning the results around and he will be hoping that the infamous manager of the month curse does not strike on Saturday as the Owls try to extend their 6-game unbeaten run against Colchester United at Hillsborough.
