Sheffield Wednesday manager Gary Megson has been fined £2,000 and warned about his conduct at a personal hearing with the F.A. today.
The Owls boss accepted a charge of improper conduct in the aftermath of comments made following the 1-1 draw at Dagenham & Redbridge in March.
Megson was sent to the stands by the referee late on in the game after questioning some of the decisions made by the officials.
Having held a 1-0 lead for a long period of the match the Owls were pegged back when the home side converted a penalty, harshly given for handball. Wednesday were aggrieved that they did not get a penalty of their own in the closing stages of the match for what appeared to be an identical incident.
