Sheffield Wednesday have revealed their new home shirt for the 2014/15 season and with it comes news of a new sponsor.
The Owls have signed a deal with 'Azerbaijan Land of Fire' a brand led by Hafiz Mammadov, the man set to takeover the club subject to Football League ratification. However, the sponsorship deal is said to be independent of the takeover and is described as a financially significant move.
The Owls will be in good company as the 'Azerbaijan Land of Fire' logo also appears on the shirts of newly promoted French top flight side RC Lens and the champions of Spain, Atletico Madrid.
Wednesday revealed their new home shirt via their official website today, reverting back to a classic blue and white striped version with adult prices once again held, starting from £40.
The new home shirt will be available for purchase at the 'Owls in the Park' event in Hillsborough Park this Sunday with the new away shirt set to be revealed next week.
