Sheffield Wednesday have today confirmed the capture of 2 players as Carlos Carvalhal looks to put the missing pieces of the jigsaw together as the Owls bid to improve on last season's 6th placed finish.
Daniel Pudil and Almen Abdi have both completed the move north from Premier League club Watford.
The return of popular defender Pudil is a welcome one as he made the left-back spot his own last season during a successful loan spell at Hillsborough during which he featured over 40 times for the Owls.
30-year-old Pudil, who featured for Czech Republic at Euro 2016 in France this summer, is said to have signed a 2-year contract at S6.
Almen Abdi is an attacking midfielder who was a very popular player at Vicarage Road. He joined the Hornets in 2012 on loan from Udinese and won the Watford player of the year award in his first season before signing a permanent deal with the club. He helped the Hornets achieve promotion in 2015 and featured in 38 games for the Premier League side last season.
The 29-year-old Swiss international is though to have signed a 3-year deal with the Owls.
