Sheffield Wednesday have moved to add to their squad on the eve of transfer deadline day, bringing in young striker Benik Afobe from Premier League giants Arsenal.
The highly rated 20-year-old has signed a loan deal to stay at Hillsborough until the end of the season and his parent club have also granted the player permission to play for Wednesday in the F.A. Cup.
Afobe has scored goals for fun at youth levels for Arsenal, netting 40 times for the under 16's before going onto score 21 times in 24 games for the under 18's in 2009/10.
The following season saw the striker go out on loan for the first time, to League One side Huddersfield where we played 32 matches, scoring 8 goals and creating plenty of assists.
He has also had loan spells with Reading and Bolton and has scored 4 goals in 7 matches for Arsenal's under 21 side this season.
Afobe, whose Arsenal compatriot Damian Martinez is also currently on loan at S6, is available for selection for the South Yorkshire derby against Barnsley at Hillsborough on Saturday.
