The Danish striker has not yet scored since signing from Midtjylland and despite his towering height he has not been as mighty in the air as some fans would have hoped he would have been.
But Turner admits there is room for improvement in not only Olsen, but a number of other players as he tries to build for next season.
He says: “In this division you need height and it was more than apparent against Brentford on Saturday with their physical presence, they ourfought us in those battles while against Notts County, Olsen won quite a few headers what the second striker will hope to get on the end of eventually.
“He does need a goal himself but I believe he is getting stronger although I know that he is still developing.
“I know a player who I would love to sign who will come into the team and score 20 goals but I know that particular player will cost us a lot of money, so I have go to out and find the players what we can develop so we can create a team of our own and Kim is one of those players who we are working on.
“He isn’t the finished article yet but if he comes in next season and scores the goals then that will be worth while bringing him here.”
