The Holland striker has been linked with a move to S6 although it looks as if the former Ajax and Barcelona man will look elsewhere for a club following his release from PSV.
He told Dutch newspaper De Telegraaf: I am flattered with the interest, however, a move to Sheffield Wednesday is not in my future plans.
"I will wait and see what happens. My agent will show me all the options I have and after that I will make a decision."
Brian Laws will now turn his attentions to Darius Henderson of Watford and Southampton's Grzegorz Rasiak after Kluivert rejected the chance of a trial.
David Graham has gone on trial to Gillingham so Brian Laws will be keeping his fingers crossed that he has some extra money to play with if the former Torquay man moves on.
