Sheffield Wednesday’s Coca Cola Championship match against Blackpool has been rearranged for Tuesday 19th January with a 7.45pm kick-off.
The original date of the Bloomfield Road fixture was postponed due to a frozen pitch at the stadium on Monday 28th December, which came as something of a disappointment to the Owls who were hoping to take the momentum of the much improved Boxing Day display against league leaders Newcastle United into the fixture.
The two teams will now face each other in league action twice in the space of just three weeks as the Hillsborough fixture takes place on Tuesday 9th February.
