McMahon is still coming to terms with the injury and it comes as a bitter blow as he had featured in every single game under Paul Sturrock prior to being ruled out and was in fine form to boot.

McMahon is itching to get back in action already but knows it will be a hard battle, so he is adamant he will come back better than before.
He added: “I just have to focus and come back bigger, stronger and raring to go. I will have to build up my fitness though and start running again, the gaffer has worked on my fitness before and we will do it again. It is a bit of a pain but it will have to be done.
“I am going to assess the injury in a month and then hopefully start running again and then I may be back sooner than anticipated.”
