Sheffield Wednesday has made their 4th acquisition of the summer, adding Wolves midfielder Darren Potter to their ranks for an undisclosed fee.
Potter played 17 times for the Owls in the second half of last season during a loan spell and impressed with his keen eye for a pass, dead-ball and shooting ability.
The former Liverpool man has signed a 3-year deal with the Owls and is expected to jet out to Malta tomorrow for the club's pre-season camp along with fellow new signings Michael Gray, Darren Purse and Tommy Miller plus the rest of the squad.
Manager Brian Laws was delighted with the way Potter performed during his loan spell last season and has been eager to complete this deal for some time.
Given as things currently stand, that the club are unlikely to meet their optimum target for season tickets sales, it is unclear whether Potter will be the new face through the door at S6 this summer, although it is thought that the club have been considering a possible loan signing in attack.
