Sheffield Wednesday striker Stevie May has earned his first call up to the Scotland senior international squad.
Gordon Strachan has named a 27-man squad for October's European Championships qualifying matches against Georgia and Poland and May has been rewarded for a positive start to his first season in the Football League Championship by being included in the 27.
May, who has been a regular in the Scotland Under 21's side, joined the Owls in Auguest and has looked lively during his introduction to English football, scoring 3 league goals in contribution to Wednesday's good start to the season.
