Sheffield Wednesday received a boost on Tuesday as striker Matt Fryatt agreed a deal to extend his loan stay with the club until the end of November.
The Hull City front man had been on loan to the Owls for the past month, making 5 appearances and scoring 2 goals including the equaliser in last Saturday's 1-1 draw with local rivals Barnsley at Oakwell.
Wednesday have been short of a prolific goalscorer this season, summer signing Atdhe Nuhiu has led the line well in his short time with the club but looks better suited to playing alongside a goal poacher and Fryatt certainly fits that bill at Championship level.
