Sheffield Wednesday striker Akpo Sodje scored his second goal in as many games this evening for Charlton as the London club continued their promotion push with a 4-2 home win against Bristol Rovers.
Sodje has gone out on a months loan in a bid to find fitness and form and he certainly looks to be finding his touch in front of goal. Despite scoring an equaliser on Saturday Akpo again found himself on the bench and had to wait until the 83rd minute to get into the game.
With his side leading 3-2 including a penalty strike from ex-Owl Deon Burton Sodje wrapped up the points, scoring from close range following a corner with five minutes remaining.
Charlton are without a game this weekend having been knocked out of the F.A. Cup and Sodje's next opportunity is likely to come when they travel to Brighton next Tuesday.
