The former Bristol City striker has been out of action for three months and started in the reserves against Hull's second string yesterday.
Wednesday lost 2-1 to The Tigers and Peacock did look out of sorts somewhat in his comeback game but Paul Sturrock believes that the run out would have done him good.
He has only scored two goals this season but despite that statistic, he has performed well when picked and the club have really missed his muscle in attack.
In other news, Wednesday's home game against Port Vale has been put back a day from Saturday 22nd January to be played on the Friday night at 7.45pm so it can be shown on Sky.
And Wednesday will be meeting with Dennis Hobson tomorrow regarding his donation of cash to strengthen the team.
