Crossley's final match at Hillsborough was the defeat to Hull City on New Year's Day but a deal has been finalised to allow him to play in the FA Cup clash with Manchester City on Saturday.

The stopper has made an outstanding contribution to Wednesday's recent run and has become a firm fan's favourite – but he will be harbouring for a longer-term deal when his contract ends with parent club Fulham in the summer.

Graham Coughlan should join Crossley against City on Sunday as he will deputise for the suspended Madjid Bougherra while Yoann Folly or Wade Small should play on the right-hand side of midfield.

In other news, the club have announced that Italian company Lotto will supply Wednesday's kit for four years from this summer.

Diadora's contract runs out then and Wednesday have moved fast to secure a deal with Lotto, who supply kits for the likes of Fiorentina, Palermo, Borussia Monchengladbach, Udinese, Ukraine and Serbia.
