Tudgay was sent home early on Thursday after reporting to training with an illness while Burton suffered a slight groin strain.
But manager Brian Laws is confident the former Derby duo will be firing on all cylinders when it comes to kick off time at Home Park.
In midfield, Laws will have to replace Glenn Whelan who is suspended and Graham Kavanagh - who has returned to his parent club Sunderland.
Wednesday were hoping to sign Kavanagh for a further month on loan but that now looks dead in the water.
Steve Watson should replace the Republic of Ireland midfielder with Kenny Lunt coming in for Whelan.
Laws is in confident mood going into the game and admits a victory at Argyle would be a massive boost for Wednesday's supporters.
He said: "There was a lot of pressure on everyone on Saturday because of the midweek result but we remained focussed on everything that we want to do which is to keep climbing the table.
"We have a very difficult trip
- we want to put in a performance and get a result, particularly for ourselves but more so, for our supporters who will travel down there. Most of them will not be going just for one day; it's the full weekend because it takes you so long to get there and it can take a full weekend up so we want to give them a performance to be proud of."We are going to go down there with confidence. We have done so before and won and there's no reason that can't happen again as it seems that we are getting our best performances away from home anyway."
Meanwhile, chairman Dave Allen will not be charged by the FA after calling fans 'cretins' amognst other things - he can count on two counts as well today after it was revealled that Wednesday made a profit on last year's accounts.
